About Us

Our Aim

The Bnei Brak Development Fund aims to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Bnei Brak. We intend to accomplish this through implementing projects that relieve welfare, improve education, increase jobs, and expand urban infrastructure.

Our Vision

In pursuing our mission, we intend to develop Hi Tech centers and commercial buildings in the northern part of the city. We believe this will both help increase employment and generate revenue for the entire city. We also intend to implement social service projects that include educational courses, frameworks for youths with difficulties integrating in mainstream educational institutions, a network of tutors that will identify and treat children with learning disabilities, extracurricular activities for students, afternoon child care facilities, and a "warm home" for children of working mothers, large families, and single parent homes.

Political and Investor Support

Key public figures from a diverse array of Israeli political parties support the Bnei Brak Development Fund. In addition, the Fund also receives support from New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, several congressmen, and government figures. The Fund has also started recruiting affluent investors to promote the local economy by creating more workplaces in the city, while the city council has agreed to provide a similar amount of money to any amount donated for the welfare of the city and its residents.

Rabbinic Blessings

The Fund is widely recognized and operates with the blessings of all of the Chassidic leaders, as well as Gedolei HaTorah (leaders of the Rabbinical world). During a one week visit to the United States, Mayor Yaakov Asher met with the Great Admors of Satmar, Sakura, Bobov, Munkatch, Novominsk and Spinka.
